A beautiful game that is a lovely change of pace as you watch a city on the edge of revolution through the uncaring eyes of a bird. Received in Humble Monthly Subscription)This is a cute little game where there is an oppressive story going on with humans, but you are just a bird, and all you care about it building your nest... and eavesdropping of course. It can be a little tricky to get used to the bird, but once you get the hang of it, it's a joy to take to the skies.The game takes about 90 minutes to complete, but there does seem to be a common bug with one of the achievements. I played through twice to get all the achievements, trying both types of control scheme (both with controller) and that did the trick.I would have been happy to pay the full $5 for this unique little adventure, so highly recommend this game if you see it on sale. If you've never spread your wings before, now is the time!. This is yet another game that made me wish Steam had a "meh" option. But on the other hand, it's cheap, and It's fine for what it is - a fairly simple game where you fly around collecting things. The things you can "collect" are presented fairly early and finding them is fairly straight forward. I wouldn't call it the best short game I've played, but it's good enough, cheap enough, and short enough, that if you're bothering to read reviews for it, just go ahead and buy the game.. The graphics are just stunning and the controls are really smooth, even on keyboard which is how I played it. The story is really deep and actually pretty interesting and fun to piece together (not hard), it's like a gigantic jigsaw puzzle. I'm a bit stupid and at first I didn't know wtf to do so I just flew around looking at the world and listening to the conversations of all the people. I wanted to push the bird to the limits. After I found out what I needed to do, it guided me into following the story more and I learned more aobut the story(I'm trying to avoid spoilers here). It is a really short and sweet game, a bit too short though. The story is deep and actually has a really good meaning behind it if you think about it. All in all it is a really fun game, short, sweet, and for 5 dollars it is exactly as much game as I'd expect, probably more actually.. THE GOOD: Great way to tell a narrative, good voice acting, nice soundtrack, appropriate aesthetic, easy to 100%.THE BAD: Difficult to work out what to do at the start, collision detection is iffy but not game breaking.A four chapter story told through eavesdropping as a bird whilst busily collecting shiny things. A great experience.
